About
the Scott's L.A.™ Team:
We’re small,
started by two families that have been friends for more than 25
years.
Scott is co-founder of SCOTT’S
L.A.™, he’s the personality behind the microphone
and he’s the source of knowledge that makes these tours possible.
His family has lived in the same Southern California neighborhood for
more than 100 years, his on-air radio experience spans 30 years, and he’s
had communication jobs in aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, government,
and education. Currently, he teaches radio production at Pasadena
City College.
Paul graduated
from Occidental College in Los Angeles and lived in L.A. for more
than a decade. He also attended part of high school and college in Japan. He is V.P. of Japan Publicity, Inc., as well as
President and founder of WA Arts, LLC, a consulting firm
he began in 1998 with his wife, Arolyn.
Matt, Scott’s son, has worked at Universal Studios
theme park and is an author of Horror, Sci-Fi, and yes even a little bit of Young Adult fiction. Along with his wife, F.J.R. Titchenell, he is represented by Jennifer Mishler of Literary Counsel and lives in the usually sunny town of San Gabriel, CA. Be sure to check out their latest book to hit the shelves: Splinters (The Prospero Chronicles, #1). As Assistant Producer of SCOTT'S L.A.™,
he is extremely important in the editing of our audio tours.
Arolyn, also an Occidental College graduate, is an accomplished
artist, jewelry designer, and Co-Owner and Proprietor of Soul
Creations Jewelry & Fine Arts Gallery in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Her small-business experience makes her the ideal Quality Control and
Operations Manager for SCOTT’S L.A.™. She
also brings the valuable asset of female perspective: what women find
important, ranging from shopping, food and entertainment, to specific
cultural locations and activities.
